Red

Hi again. So yesterday I had the opportunity to listen to Taylor Swift's latest album, 'Red' and also the deluxe edition. I only have one word for it. Awesome.
Yes, she is my favourite singer but I am definitely not being biased about this. I mean, come on. The songs are beautiful. All kinds of emotions can be felt as you listen to the whole album. She may not have the most powerful voice but she is clearly improving. She is so much better now. So I guess I should list out all of the songs in the album.
Basically 'Red' consists of 16 songs and they are:
1. State of Grace
2. Red
3. Treacherous
4. I Knew You Were Trouble
5. All Too Well
6. 22
7. I Almost Do
8. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
9. Stay
10. The Last Time (feat. Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol)
11. Holy Ground
12. Sad Beautiful Tragic
13. The Lucky One
14. Everything Has Changed (feat. Ed Sheeran)
15. Starlight
16. Begin Again

The deluxe edition consists of another 6 songs;
1. The Moment I Knew
2. Come Back... Be Here
3. Girl At Home
4. Treacherous (Original Demo Recording)
5. Red (Original Demo Recording)
6. State of Grace (Acoustic Version)

All of these songs have a different feel to it. My current favourites are 'The Last Time' and 'Come Back... Be Here'. I do think she is a fan of Nicholas Sparks. Her last album had 'Dear John' while this one has 'The Lucky One'. Either way, she is still one of the best songwriters out there. Her ballads are the best, to be honest. Oh and she released the music video to 'Begin Again'. It was beautiful. The setting, her style, everything was gorgeous. Here it is. Enjoy.

I Knew You Were Trouble

cr: x

Taylor Swift has released another single which was premiered on Good Morning America on the 8th of October. It's called I Knew You Were Trouble. I totally love this song. It doesn't sound like her usual break up song and it has a sort of dubstep chorus which I really love.
I have been into dubtep songs lately. I don't even know why. All of these songs just seem to linger in my mind and they don't show any signs of leaving.
So yeah, back to the song. Here's the link if you want to listen to the full song
Here are the full lyrics so you can sing long to it:

Once upon a time, a few mistakes ago
I was in your sights, you got me alone
You found me, you found me, you found me
I guess you didn’t care, and I guess I liked that
And when I fell hard, you took a step back
Without me, without me, without me

And he’s long gone when he’s next to me
And I realise the blame is on me
Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Shame on me now, flew me to places I’d never been
Til you put me down

Oh, I knew you were trouble when you walked
Shame on me now, flew me to places I’d never been
Now I’m lying on the cold hard ground

Oh, oh. Trouble, trouble, trouble.
Oh, oh. Trouble, trouble, trouble.

No apologies, he’ll never see you cry
Pretend he doesn’t know that you’re the reason why
You’re drowning, you’re drowning, you’re drowning

I heard you moved on from whispers in the street
A new notch in your belt is all I’ll ever be
And now I see, now I see, now I see

He was long gone when we met me
And I realize the joke is on me

Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Shame on me now, flew me to places I’d never been
Til you put me down

Oh, I knew you were trouble when you walked
Shame on me now, flew me to places I’d never been
Now I’m lying on the cold hard ground

Oh, oh. Trouble, trouble, trouble.
Oh, oh. Trouble, trouble, trouble.

And the saddest fear comes creeping in
That you never loved me, or her, or anyone, or anything
YEAH!

I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Shame on me now, flew me to places I’d never been
Til you put me down

Oh, I knew you were trouble when you walked
Shame on me now, flew me to places I’d never been
Now I’m lying on the cold hard ground

Oh, oh. Trouble, trouble, trouble.
Oh, oh. Trouble, trouble, trouble.

I knew you were trouble when you walked in.

Worrying

So yesterday was officially my first day as a second year medicine student. However, it is not confirmed yet for a few of us if we could make it into the second year. I, in particular, am very worried. I haven't been one of those top achievers this year and I slacked. Yes, I slacked and messed up. I don't know what I was doing. I'm beginning to regret everything. I don't want to repeat the first year.
Why?
Embarrassment. That's a big word. But here I am, talking about it. I don't think anyone would notice anyway but it still hurts me because I cam't really talk about it with anyone. I'm so scared and I'm feeling so alone.
Dear God, please let me proceed into the second year with ease. I promise I'll try my very best to improve.
